Meteorologist with weatherzone Jacob Cronje says that also means no significant rainfall is expected for the next couple of days.

“We may well see some inland fog on Friday and Sunday in the eraly mornings but apart from that it looks like a pretty nice weekend coming up,” he said.

“You could see partly cloudy skies on Saturday which will keep maximum temperatures down slightly.”

Friday’s minimum temperature will be about eight degrees before reaching a top of 20 degrees.

The minimum for Saturday will be between eight and nine degrees and a top of 19 – because of those cloudy conditions – while Sunday is again expected to top out at 20 degrees.

Mr Cronje said the temperatures further inland could be cooler, around six degrees over the weekend.

“But we are looking at very mild conditions during the daytime, overall,” he added.

There are currently no warnings at all across the weekend.

Sea conditions will be fairly calm with no significant wave heights expected and the winds are likely to be offshore for the most part.

And in some good news, those calm and settled conditions, at this point, appear set to continue into early next week too.
