A MAN has been charged with numerous drug offences after an arrest in Port Macquarie.

About 10am on June 15, police from Mid North Coast Local Area Command executed a search warrant on a home in Port Macquarie.
Police located a sophisticated hydroponic setup, housing 15 cannabis plants, as well as dry cannabis leaf.
Police also seized an amount of methlyamphetamine, as well as a small amount of cash, mobile phones and drug paraphernalia.
A 36-year-old man, who allegedly resisted police during the warrant, was arrested and taken to Port Macquarie Police Station.
He was charged with cultivating a prohibited plant, possessing a prohibited plant, supply prohibited drug, two counts of possess prohibited drug, assault police, resist police, dealing the proceeds of crime and goods in custody.
He was refused bail and will appear before Port Macquarie Local Court on June 16.
