Bec Howard from Breakwall HQ was joined by the family of two-year-old Austin Roper who is receiving treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
Austin and his parents Alana and Nathan were unable to attend the event. But they were there is spirit with grandparents Carol and Steve Roper and Denise and Lloyd Millican witnessing for themselves the overwhelming community support for their family.
Local businesses and sporting clubs also threw their support behind the fundraiser on Sunday, May 28 at the Town Beach kiosk.
“This town has really shown what community spirit it has,” Bec said in thanking everyone who had donated goods and time for the fundraiser.
