The three-year-old had his first visit to a Port Macquarie hairdresser on May 5.
His father Diogo Coradini said he and Kadu had a conversation about donating his hair once he needed it cut.
Mr Coradini asked Kadu if wanted his hair to go to someone who was undergoing chemotherapy as part of their cancer treatment. Kadu told him he would like it to go to someone who needed it more than him.
Evelina Kemp Hair & Beauty hairdresser Jacquelene Price was tasked with the job of cutting off Kadu’s hair.
She said it was fabulous that a three-year-old showed he cared for other children who might be going through a difficult time.
The Coradini family has set up a page to help raise funds for the cause. Kadu has raised nearly $400 and his target is $700.
