Nikki said the win means everything to her after dedicating years of time and effort into building the youth base of the Wauchope Show Society.
She is an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary and Pavilion committees and following in the footsteps of her grandparents and parents.
Nikki was the showgirl runner-up in 2016 and in earning this year’s crown, has said she takes on the responsibility and privilege to lead the next generation and nurture the show culture in her home town.
“I want to see the Wauchope Show here in another 107 years and for that to happen it is up to us,” Nikki said.
“This is very important to me. It means everything.”
There were 14 entrants in the junior and senior categories of the Showgirl competition.
