Zoe Freisberg, who won the hearts of the Kendall audiences in September 2016, will perform a virtuoso program of works in Kendall and Nambucca Heads.
One of Australia’s most gifted young violinists, Zoe Freisberg has already embarked on an impressive career winning a number of awards and competitions.
She was identified by the Australian Chamber Orchestra as an emerging artist, and has performed as a soloist with the Tasmanian Symphony and Orchestra Victoria among others.
She also frequently performs in recital and as a chamber musician throughout Australia and overseas.
The artistic director of the Kendall National Violin Competition, Goetz Richter was very enthusiastic about Zoe’s return to the Mid-North Coast.
“Zoe is a wonderful violinist and a beautiful human being. I think audiences will be thrilled to hear - and meet her,” he aid.
The Kendall National Violin Competition is an annual event which supports young Australian violinists and enhances the musical life of the Mid-North Coast.
The violin recitals featuring violinist Zoe Freisberg (violin) and Jeanell Carrigan (piano) will be in Nambucca Heads at the Nambucca Heads Community and Arts Centre on Saturday, April 8 and in the Kendall School of Arts on Sunday April 9. Both performances commence at 2pm.
