Associate Professor Andrew Kornberg is making nine house calls around Australia and local schoolboy Finn Munro aged 9 is one of them.
Finn has been under Andrew’s care at the Royal Children’s Hospital since he was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II at the age of two.
“It’s great to have local real estate agent Harcourts Greater Port Macquarie on board in supporting us raising funds for Fly for the Kids to support the Complex Movement Disorders Program at The Royal Children’s Hospital,” Finn’s parents Simon Munro and Donna Liver said.
“It’s such a fantastic cause and I’m looking forward to raising as much money as possible.”
Anne Randall, Good Friday Appeal director said the money raised will help to make a huge difference to young patients at The Royal Children’s Hospital.
Dr David Gillespie MP will be in attendance to welcome Professor Kornberg and there will be raffle prizes, lucky door prize and a silent auction of “Aeronauticus” (2003) by local artist Beric Henderson.
