It is why he has taken on the F45 Port Macquarie ‘define’ challenge, which runs for eight weeks.
Eric Wilken, one of the trainers at F45, said the program was all about clean eating and a rigorous training program.
“We cater for every fitness level, so as far as the challenge go people will be able to structure their meal plans for the week, and they’ll also be given body scans before, during and after the challenge to help to motivate them,” he said.
Mr Edwards was sick of feeling unfit, and decided to enlist the help of the guys at the F45 centre.
He said he is looking forward to shedding the pounds and improving his fitness during what will be a tough eight weeks.
“I’m keen to do the challenge to work on getting my fitness as a good level, and to shed some body fat off myself,” he said.
“With this whole diet and exercise regime with the guys at F45 I think I’ll be able to get to myself to the next level of my fitness and to reach the goals I want to achieve.
“I’m looking forward to taking the challenge on and seeing how I feel at the end of the eight weeks.”
The Port News will follow Ken’s progress over the next two months and provide weekly updates.
