The group of 30 men, who together make up Blokes Notes, have made a $500 donation to the Hastings Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Service ahead of White Ribbon Day.
The community men’s choir formed about eight years ago and made the commitment to support the service.
President and baritone, Mark Stewart, said the service provides support for more than 1000 Hastings women every year.
“We are making a statement that violence against women and children is never acceptable,” Mr Stewart said.
The choir will perform for walkers at Sunday’s White Ribbon Coastal Walk. They will have singers on the steps at Lighthouse Beach and along Tuppenny Lane at Flynns Beach.
Anyone wanting to join Blokes Notes are invited to come along to their rehearsals at the MacAdams Music Centre on Thursday nights between 6.30pm-8.30pm during school terms.
