Both their A-grade men’s and women’s teams couldn’t be separated after regulation time.
The men drew 2-all with Camden Haven who then emerged with a 3-2 shoot-out win, while the women suffered a similar fate, losing 2-1 to Port City Makos.
Their B-grade counterparts also fell 4-3 in extra-time to Camden Haven.
On a positive note, the C-grade men will fly the flag for the club in the grand final after defeating Camden Haven 2-0.
They will play the winner of Tacking Point Thunder and Camden Haven.
The C-grade ladies will aim to join them in the decider should they emerge victorious from their mid-week semi-final clash with Port City Makos.
Club president Glen Pursehouse said while some of the results were disappointing, it had been a successful year for the club.
“It’s been a very good year and we’ve seen growth and development from some of our newer players,” he said.
“We didn’t expect the A-grade men to go as well as they did; we were hopeful, but they came together throughout the season really well.”
