In a shortened competition, all rounds will be completed to coincide with the end of Saturday’s junior competition.
This will allow for the commencement of our major resurfacing works on our courts, which has been made possible with thanks to the generous grant we received earlier in the season
On Monday night we saw some close scoring games, PC Sportspower 26 d PC Inferno 25, PC Dream Team 31 d PC Fireflies 28 and W Aztecs 29 d PP Bintang 23.
There were also some not-so-close scoring games, but many, many laughs.
Senior Registrar Carole Field said interest was still high even though it’s a shortened eight-week competition.
“Two weeks in and everything is going well,” she said.
“All the teams participate in a very friendly, social atmosphere. I really like it when the ‘underdogs’ have their first win.”
Saturday saw the return of play after our three-weekend holiday break.
Teams are starting to think about finals chances and are beginning to show promise and potential leading into the end of competition rounds. Our Netta girls, well, they just love being on the court!!
Good luck to Port Combined and HVNA’s Georgia Flowers who is currently in chilly Albury representing North Coast PSSA in the NSW State Championships.
