IT is hard not to be inspired when you listen to just one of the successful mentors that address the crowd at the Luminosity Youth Summit.
Fairfax Media sponsored three high school students – Tyrell Scott, Sophie Yeh and George Rudd – to attend the event at the Glasshouse.
All three thoroughly enjoyed the experience, drawing motivation and learning from the many guest speakers.
Sophie, a French exchange student, said she was enjoying her time in Australia.
“It has been great to see how people my age can enjoy Luminosity,” she said.
“I have had a great time at the event.”
For George, it was hard to pick a favourite speaker, but the keen magician certainly walked away holding on to some words of wisdom.
“I came to be inspired and to find out what I want to do in life,” he said.
“I’m enjoying some of the amazing speakers.”
MC Andrew Morello once again proved himself as a crowd favourite, while Lorraine Murphy was one of George’s top picks.
“It’s inspiring to hear about the success that these people have had. Lorraine was excellent on day one,” he said.
“I still don’t really know what I want to do yet, but I’m probably going to look at an engineering career path. I’m doing engineering studies, maths and physics at school.”
