The region got an early morning wake up with a 1.9 magnitude earthquake recorded off the Macleay Valley coast.
The earthquake was recorded officially by Geoscience Australia at 7.07am at an ocean depth of one kilometre.
Two hours earlier, a 6.3 magnitude quake was recorded off Andreanof Island in the north-Pacific's Aleutian Islands.
There are no reports of damage.
On March 10, a 2.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded at West Wyalong, NSW.
