Local Government NSW has received decidedly mixed reviews from its members about the public inquiries into proposed council amalgamations conducted by Government-appointed delegates.
It is essential that the communities that will be impacted by amalgamation decisions are heard, loud and clear.
That’s why it is critical for people from all affected communities to lodge a written submission before the cut-off date of 28 February.
A handy guide and template on drafting a submission can be found on the LGNSW website at http://www.lgnsw.org.au/key-initiatives/reform-fit-for-the-future#public-inquiry
