The Queensland Buick Clubs host the three day event which will attract Buick owners and their cars from across Australia.
More than 50 shining Buicks ranging from 1924 to 1978 models started arriving yesterday.
If you are a fan of what some would say was the original muscle car, Panthers Port Macquarie car park is the place to be on Sunday from 9am until 11am for the Buick Car Club of Australia bi-annual East Coast Meet Show and Shine.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council is a trophy sponsor of the event and mayor Peter Besseling will be on hand about 10am to choose a Mayor's Choice at the show and shine.
IF your thumb isn't as green as it should be The Lost Plot Spring Fair on Saturday from 1pm until 4pm is the place to be.
The Central Road Port Macquarie community garden will be jumping as members help you navigate your garden woes and special guests give tips on chickens and recycling bicycles.
Green Dean, also known as the chicken whisperer, will present a chicken keeping workshop.
Dean founded and runs the KFC Project, based in Brisbane, which rescues battery hens from commercial farms to rehome them with chicken lovers.
He supports urban homes and communities in south east Queensland with education and consults on permaculture, urban farming, soil care, organic edible gardening, worm farming, creating biodiversity, cooking, nutrition, food sustainability, and community resilience.
Spring is the time to get back into some exercise and cycling is a great way to enjoy the scenery around you as you ride.
If your bike is a little worse for wear, you could benefit from the recycle bicycle workshop at the fair.
Cameron from Recycle Bicycle will show you how to resurrect an old or discarded bicycle, first recognising if it is worth repairing or just useful for spare parts.
You can even take one along for him to check out.
Other activities at the fair include face painting, tree planting, games and spring hat decorating.
There will also be some stalls - The Veggie Kitchen; Bottled Earth; Organics Matt'R cold-pressed juices; Bottled Culture by Warinyan Farm.
