The school has won through to the play-offs in September after some good performances at regional level in the year 5/6 competition. Saints won the regional finals at Kempsey last Wednesday, after taking victory in the Port Macquarie region against schools from Port and Laurieton.
They'll gain valuable match practice at the Paul Wilson Cup matches at Laurieton.
Should they win there, they will then represent the Hastings in Grafton.
"That will give us a good indication of how we'll go," the girls' school supervisor, Di Hughes, said.
The team also plays together for Port Saints in the Hastings Valley Netball Association's club competition.
The club coaches are Elyssa Cross and Lee Spencer.
Hughes was chuffed with the girls' progress.
"Very proud of them," she said.
They will play at Homebush in September, on the same courts which will be used for the Netball World Cup.
The school's sports leader, Jeff Arkinstall, said St Peters had plenty of talent coming through its ranks in a range of sports.
