Saints will follow's match against FC with a Tuesday night catch-up against Taree Wildcats at Findlay Park before an assignment against Macleay Valley Rangers at the same venue the next Saturday.
They aren't worried though. Saints train hard two nights per week anyway, and see the match as just another session.
"We always say you'd rather play than train," manager Mark Rogers said.
"This should be no different to a good [training] session."
The close nature of the 2015 competition means Saints can't afford to drop any points for fear of sliding down the ladder.
"We could go from second to anywhere in the top five," Rogers said.
"That's the way the competition is.
"It seems like that on any given day, depending on who's available, it could change the results."
Saints beat FC 7-0 back in early May. Rogers said the scoreline didn't reflect the contest in that encounter.
"FC came at us the whole game, and we expect that to happen again," he said.
"It was a really good contest. We took our chances when they were there."
FC did the same in a great comeback win over Old Bar last weekend.
It was the first time reserves and firsts had won on the same weekend, and FC coach Tony Wilson said there was a real buzz around the club.
He'll have a strong squad to pick from for the match, with plenty available to play. Three or four will either sit fresh on the bench or play reserve grade.
Wilson said positive football was the key. He wants his team to "go at" Saints early.
"We just need to back ourselves a bit more," he said.
