David Bagust, whose firm Midcoast Internet sponsored the day, had 72 off the stick to take out the scratch score on a countback. He was competing in the two ball best ball event which had a single stableford in conjunction with it.
Peter White also had 72 off the stick but Bagust beat him on a countback.
Joe Barbaro and Bob Humphrey took out the best ball with 46 points and the runners up were Stefan Walker and Josh James who made 43 points.
Barbaro and Humphrey played the back nine first and started slowly, turning with 21 points. However they played their second nine much better and when Barbaro birdied the final hole they had added 25 points for the front nine.
Barbaro had 34 points in the single event while Humphrey made 31 points.
Both Walker and James made 34 individual points. The pair had very little handicap with Walker playing off scratch and James off five. They had a best ball of 20 points around the front but were four under par around the back for 23 points.
Nine marker Perry Harpur won the single event on a countback with 39 points. He got away to a solid start having 17 points after just seven holes. However a couple of one pointers to finish the front nine brought him back to the field. He had 19 points out and 20 home.
Warren Burke also had 39 points but had them in the reverse order to Harpur, making 20 points out and 19 home.
The ball competition went down to 30 points on a countback and the nearest to the pins were won by Josh James, Kevin Fellows, Richard Went and Richard Wilson.
