Robins was too fast, winning the race by six minutes after a good run leg capped off an "unforgettable" race.
It came on the back of an initial breakaway on the bike, where Robins led by about two minutes.
The 26-year-old Robins clocked a time of one hour, 55 minutes and 42 seconds in perfect conditions.
The race is surely one of the more remarkable triathlons around.
Competitors race across Laos, Myanmar and Thailand.
The swim leg was exciting, with a strong current in the Mekong River leg between Laos and Thailand.
"It was pretty crazy, but luckily, everyone made it safely," Robins said.
It was just the start of an unbelievable race.
The ride was in Thailand and the run took place across Myanmar and Thailand.
"I don't know any other triathlon in the world where you race across three countries," Robins said.
"The atmosphere was intense. I was escorted through the border crossings by armed police, and the local people were really welcoming.
"It was a once in a lifetime experience for sure."
The win backs up a triumph in the ULAH Tri United 1 race in the Philippines.
Robins will return to the Philippines on May 3.
There are races in Taiwan on April 25 and a Vietnam 70.3 on May 10.
