The funding is being made available to local councils for the purpose of developing regional airports in a bid to boost tourism.
It is an opportunity for our region to further embed its stake as a tourism leader which will not only ensure our airport facility remains among the best on the Mid North Coast, but also create further opportunities for employment and facilitate economic growth.
Port Macquarie Airport is the gateway to the Mid North Coast and recent improvements to the tune of $21 million to enhance the facility is proof the Hastings is prepared to invest in a healthy and robust future for tourism and the local economy.
