That's the view of recent visitor Raph Dixon, whose group Jackie Onassis played Festival of the Sun in December.
Mr Dixon is part of One Day, a hip hop collective comprised of Jackie Onassis, Spit Syndicate, Horrorshow and Joyride.
Street art has long been a subject of mutual appreciation by the collective from Sydney's inner west.
Since 2013 they have run national parties where artists are invited to paint on a designated space.
They may have started with a wall at Marrickville's Vic on the Park, but now the painting occurs from Brisbane to Perth in environments which prize creativity and innovation.
"You've got to give the kids some legal space to do it," Raph says. "Let them hone their craft and they'll make something they're really proud of."
