weatherzone meteorologist Kim Westcott said Port Macquarie-Hastings should see fairly stable temperatures for the start of the Christmas week.
"You should see temperatures fairly stable across the region hitting the 28 to 29 degree mark," Mrs Westcott said.
"Coupled with those beautiful temperatures, the minimum for the same three days is predicted between 19 to 20 degrees. Although there will be a few showers coming to Port Macquarie on Tuesday and Wednesday, but these will be light and tending onshore later in the day.
"The humidity will not be too bad either. We are looking at around the 60 per cent mark through the mornings and drying out in the afternoons to around 50 per cent.
"Winds over these three days will be turning more onshore sea breezes and getting a little gusty at times. You are looking at average wind speeds of between 20 to 25 kilometres per hour," she said.
Unfortunately, that is the end of the good news, the forecaster predicted, with modelling showing a wet Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
"A low pressure trough will move over much of the state bringing showers," she said.
