The Barefoot Bowls Corporate Challenge gets under way at Port City Bowling Club on Thursday night.
It's the 10th season of the fundraiser, and this year the six-week comp raises funds for the Hastings Men's Shed, which is concerned with the wellbeing of blokes.
Matches in the triples format get under way at 5.45pm on Thursdays.
It's 14 ends, and play is finished just after 7pm.
It doesn't matter if you haven't played the game before.
Port City bowls organiser Charlie Buchanan hopes people will get the bug after playing in a social atmosphere.
"Then they can give it a go as a sport," he said.
Teams are required to have a minimum of three players each week.
Entries must be received by today, and can be lodged at the club.
It costs $70 to enter a team.
