A man was punched in the face twice before being threatened with a knife in Wauchope's Cameron Street Reserve on Thursday.

Police say the 27-year-old man from King Creek was sitting on a bench seat in the reserve when he was approached by another male.
This man has allegedly punched the victim's head twice before holding a knife at the victim’s ribs demanding his bag and wallet. The knife-wielding man then ran off through the golf course with the victim’s property.
The man is described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander appearance, about 20 to 23 years of age, 180cm tall, about 80kgs, dark brown eyes, medium coloured skin, upper tooth missing on right side of mouth and short, shaved black hair.
