PORT United sides will contest key finals matches tomorrow with weather and field conditions permitting.
First grade and the Ladies team will take to the field, both intent on taking major steps towards finals glory.
The club will also have 10 competitive junior sides from U12's-U18's in finals action this weekend. At Dixie Park, first grade will take on Macleay Valley Rangers in the qualifying semi final with the match kicking off at 2.45pm.
The winner will earn two bites at making the grand final on September 20.
The first of which will be in Forster against minor premiers Wallis Lake next Saturday.
The loser will host either the Camden Haven Redbacks or Kempsey Saints in sudden death.
Rangers have edged out United in both matches they have played this season.
On both those occasions, United were guilty of not taking their chances, something they will need to address tomorrow.
United's goal keeper, Luke Jennings, is pleased with the sides efforts so far.
"We've had a strong season as a squad, but now it's time to lift for finals," he said.
"From a defensive point of view, I'm happy that we ended up with the least goals conceeded in the competition.
"A couple more clean sheets would be most welcome, if we stay focused as a group we can certainly achieve that."
In the Northern League Ladies competition, United will travel across to Wauchope for the preliminary final at 12.45pm.
After finishing minor premiers and winning 6-0 in week one of the finals, United are keen to advance and host the grand final next weekend.
Midfielder, 16-year-old, Georga Goldsmith has excelled in her first season of senior football.
"I've really enjoyed playing in the senior competition this year," she said.
"We've had a very strong season and played some good football to this point.
"Everyone is focused on what we need to do tomorrow against Wauchope, so hopefully we can get the job done."
Their opponents, Wauchope, finished third before losing via a penalty shootout against Macleay Valley Rangers in week one of the finals.
Last weekend they defeated Kempsey Hornets 4-0 to keep their season going.
Last time the sides met, the match finished 1-1 at Tuffins Lane whilst United won the other two encounters this season.
In reserve grade, United have the week off after taking out the minor premiership.
They await the winner of Wallis Lake and Macleay Valley Rangers who will play at Dixie Park tomorrow at 12.45pm prior to United's first grade match.
