On Friday night about 10.30pm an oil spill on the corner of William and Short streets required street cordons while it was attended to.
Fire & Rescue NSW Port Macquarie station officer Gaven Muller said the firies were required to apply absorbent material to the road to prevent vehicles skidding in the wet conditions.
About 3.15am on Saturday morning the station received a report of a caravan alight on Everard Street, behind the Koala Hospital.
The 16ft caravan was totally involved when firefighters arrived but they managed to extinguish to blaze before it caused any damage to the adjacent homes.
Station officer Muller said the caravan was not occupied at the time and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
In a third incident a rubbish fire was reported to the station about 3.30pm on Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters attended the fire at a vacant house on Highfields Circuit near Port Macquarie Base Hospital.
It was quickly under control with no further damage recorded.
