Not only does the illegal dumping, and that’s essentially what it is, create an issue for the organisation in getting rid of it, it wastes their precious time and energy rectifying a situation that should never have happened.
Port Macquarie has a great reputation as a centre that gives generously when in need, and is an abundant supplier of one of our most powerful resources – volunteer manpower.
To dump unwanted goods under the visage that “they should be grateful to get whatever they get to help the poor” is ignorant in the extreme. Those who dumped useless items below should be ashamed of themselves.
