As Port News reported in September the call went out across the Hastings for single males to audition for the reality dating show.
It was hoped Port Macquarie would be one of the 10 destinations chosen where the 12 single city women would look for their next romance.
The show's producers obviously liked what they saw and When Love Comes to Town will hit our streets next month.
Early birds should head to the Town Green at 7.30am when the bus will arrive with Nine Network presenter Natalie Gruzlewski and the dozen delightful girls on board.
Port Macquarie-Hastings mayor Peter Besseling said he hoped residents would give the bus a great welcome.
"This is a great opportunity to promote the Port Macquarie region to a national prime-time audience," Cr Besseling said.
To create a coastal atmosphere council hopes the surfing community and schools and anyone who would like to be an extra on the show should also turn up to get a guernsey on camera.
The show will focus on the bachelors' lives, work, friends, families, passions and their connection with the town.
At this stage the identity of the two local eligible bachelors is under wraps but keep your eye on the Port News for further updates.
