Pirates opener Ethan Durbridge and first-drop Shane Williams will miss the match, giving captain Rod Morton a batting headache.
Morton isn't short of bowlers though, with plenty in the team to choose from tomorrow.
They'll all get some work, too. The Macquarie Hotel batsmen are capable of putting on plenty of runs.
Macca has picked up Josh and Daniel Kennedy from Bonny Hills to add to the dangerous Hyde brothers combination and captain Michael Pelley.
"We'll just have to try and bowl tight," Morton said.
"We have to be ruthless with the ball and take our chances."
They also have to put their heads down with the bat. There are some pretty poor averages among the Pirates' batsmen so far this season.
Morton said he wasn't too worried yet, despite the fact that two-dayers were looming.
In the other matches of the round Wauchope RSL hosts Port City Leagues Magpies at Andrews Park while Camden Haven takes on Comboyne at Laurieton Oval.
