In actual fact, it’s probably going to be the exact opposite in a literal sense when popular branch concierge Mr Walker allows his moustache to be shaved off for charity.
This morning, the Port Macquarie Commonwealth Bank branch staff will come together to show support for International Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and raise vital funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA).
At 9.45am tomorrow Mr Walker will say goodbye to his whiskers, but from 10am today the staff will cook a barbecue in exchange for a gold coin donation.
Staff are encouraging local residents to come into the branch, enjoy the activities and make a donation to PCFA.
Mr Walker has never shaved his moustache off in over 40 years, not even his wife could convince him to shave it until this great cause inspired him.
