Her bout against Mae Lin Leow was stopped in the first round due to strikes with Blencowe clearly dominating the proceedings.
The fight was streamed live across the globe and it was in the post fight interview that Blencowe sent a message to the MMA world.
She expressed her desire to compete in Invicta, the United State’s women’s only mixed martial arts show.
Trainer Jason Harris said Team Allegiance had been made aware representatives from Invicta were tuning in to watch.
“That’s definitely something we’d love for Arlene,” he said. “Every time she has fought, she has improved. We see the improvement in every fight and in this last fight you can see she transitioned and flowed really well.”
Blencowe has endured a hectic nine month period having chalked up seven fights.
“Most people would have that many fights in three years,” Harris said.
“But the goal has been to get her as much experience as possible.”
And she doesn’t look to be slowing down any time soon. Harris confirmed her next fight will be in Newcastle on November 9.
“It’s a little different to the traditional MMA rules though,” he said. “It will be different rules which means they’re only allowed to punch and grapple for 30 seconds.”
The fight will be a rematch with Kate De Silva who beat Blencowe in a previous MMA bout.
Blencowe’s MMA record of three wins and four losses means she is ranked in the top 25 in the world after just nine months in the sport.
