There was a report of shots fired at Emerald Downs earlier today, but police were unable to verify this.
POLICE cordoned off streets at Emerald Downs earlier today, after reports of gunshots in the area.
A report of a resident hearing gunfire came in at about 11.50am. Police attended and the streets were closed “for a short period of time”, according to a police spokesman.
Police were unable to find the source of the sounds.
