Armstrong Oysters is hidden away at the bottom of Castle Street on the Camden Haven River bank.
To make people aware of their whereabouts, they have had a trailer with a directional sign on Ocean Drive.
Also those businesses in Laurieton industrial area have trailers parked well off Ocean Drive where they are no hindrance to traffic etc because they are out of sight so, therefore, out of mind .
Council should be trying to assist businesses who are struggling but they got rid of the one staff person who used to promote business in the area, who is now deputy mayor.
Could their decision to fine heavily those who have signs on trailers be really directed to get rid of the Mayor’s buddy’s political opponent, and no thought has been given to how it will effect businesses, not only in Laurieton but also Port Macquarie?
