At Port Macquarie Golf Club on Saturday, Port Macquarie won 20 matches to three to pick up the leeway from their visit to Beverley Park in March and finish overall winners by 25 matches to 15.
At Beverley Park earlier in the year Beverley Park established a nine match lead and at the weekend the Port boys made the most of their home course advantage.
On Friday night Beverley Park retained the carpet bowls trophy in a close match, winning by 14 shots to 12, and Port Macquarie were comfortable winners in the snooker.
For the Port Macquarie team the best score was returned by Cliff Toms and Paul Moon with 47 points made up of 22 out and 25 home.
Toms was the star of the team, being on the card 10 times and contributing a four-pointer and seven three-pointers.
The pair of eight markers had six birdies between, four to Toms and two to Moon, but at the first hole they could only manage one point.
Toms and Moon collected a trophy donated by Beverley Park, as did the runners-up Rick Bourne and Hugh Gray.
Bourne and Gray had 45 points with 24 out and 21 home.
They also had a one pointer, at the 13t hole, and they had 24 out and 21 home.
Gray was on the card 13 times and he contributed eight three-pointers.
The best score of the day was returned by two pairs who were not playing in the match against Beverley Park and they won club trophies.
Trainee professional Mark Bryant teamed with Graeme Sim to make 50 points, as did the pair of Graeme McLaren and Jeff Dudgeon.
Bryant had four birdies and Sim, who plays off 19, contributed a further two birdies.
Sim had three four-pointers and four three-pointers and Bryant had six three-pointers. Their 50 points included a one-pointer at the sixth hole.
Bryant and Sim enhanced their countback with five of their birdies on the back nine, including four in a row.
McLaren started with a birdie and Dudgeon added three more.
The pair had 25 points for each nine and they shared the work load being on the card nine times each.
They each had one four-pointer and McLaren made six three-pointers and Dudgeon four.
The scratch trophy went to Trent Sargeson and Justin Peters with 38 points, the ball competition went down to 43 points and the nearest to the pins were won by John Nugent (230cm at the 5th hole), Peter Gunn (75cm, seventh), Jim Gordon (57cm, 13th) and Dereck Napier (149cm, 16th).
On Sunday a four-man ambrose was played at Port Macquarie Golf Club and the team of Grahame Gunn, Ross Emmerick, Peter Bellemore and Mike Armstrong had 12 birdies to finish clear winners with 53-1/4 nett.
The quartet claimed Sunday’s ambrose from Paul Moon, Mike Pollock, Tim Barry and Kev Martin with 55-3/8.
A countback was needed to determine the scratch winners and this went to Terry Hoare, Ron Berry, Jim Antonenas and Dave Brodgen with 63.
