With a two-point handicap and lacking his cheer squad, Bittar found it hard to get a rhythm going early and was punished for every wayward stroke.
On match point, a tricky Tse serve saw the ball fall dead in the corner leaving an embarrassed Bittar without a game or a lot of video footage to comb over for next week.
Wayne Gleeson added three more sets to the Financial’s bottom line before a revitalised Thomas Chan struck back.
In the end, Gleeson proved too strong and took the final game, leaving Khodary’s in a precarious position.
Warren Turner brought the pharmacists back into contention with a clinical performance against his much younger counterpart Steve Ulph.
Despite dropping a game, Turner was convincing with his 3-1 victory.
Subbing for Howard Ellis, Glenn Woodbridge needed a 3-0 win over Tony Kubis to complete a fairytale comeback for Bittar’s brigade.
But, Kubis dashed their hopes taking two games early on.
The five-set marathon saw Kubis lose the battle but win the ware for Advantage on the night.
Advantage Financial 2-9-110 defeated Khodary's Pharmacy 2-7-107.
A Superior Limousines v Lake Road Pharmacy
A SUPERIOR Limousines’ line one Peter Lavelle and Lake Road Pharmacy’s Glenn Reece put on a great display of squash that threatened to go either way up until a lapse in concentration saw Reece relinquish the points in the fourth.
Up-and-coming super stars Travers Goldie and Anthony Egan both enjoyed a gruelling five-set encounter that had more twists and turns than a run up to Walcha.
With one game each, the stage was set for an incredible run to the line that demonstrated the very best quality of both squash and sportsmanship.
Ultimately, Egan emerged the humble 3-2 winner with each player racking up 38 points.
Captain Leo Markum stretched the limousines’ lead when he upset Rob Yates in line three.
The younger Yates managed to add a game to Lake Road Pharmacy’s tally but the experienced Markum managed to close out the match with some pinpoint accuracy and great shot selection.
Veteran Doug Emanuel put up a wonderful fight against the youngest club member Adam Richards in a five-game thriller.
Richards’ second-to-none court coverage simply served to highlight Emanuel's impeccable stroke selection timing and accuracy as the pair traded points and games equally all the way to the fifth.
Age gave way to beauty at the end of a thoroughly entertaining game of squash.
A Superior Limousines 2-10-135 defeated Lake Road Pharmacy 2-8-119.
