A community safety precinct committee meeting will be held at the Kempsey Shire council Chambers on November 27 from 9am.
Police said the meeting is aimed at reducing crime and the fear of crime in the community.
The forums are held across the state to consult the community and other key stakeholders on crime prevention and community safety issues at a local level.
Officers say the meetings provide the opportunity for community members and business owners to get involved in strategies to address local crime concerns. It also provides an opportunity police to promote accurate local crime information and raise awareness of crime prevention approaches.
Any members of the community wishing to attend should contact Prevention Officer, Senior Constable Steve Cherry on 65 830172 by noon on Monday, November 26, 2012.
