Representatives from the Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce, Camden Haven Chamber of Commerce, Wauchope Chamber of Commerce, Hastings Business Women's Network, Micro Business Forum, Business NSW and the Greater Port Macquarie Tourism Association, joined forces to host the 2021 Combined Business Networks Christmas Party.
Over 75 guests attended the event, held in the forecourt of the Sovereign Place Town Centre, with all profits going to local charity, Bravehearts.
Bravehearts MNC Chair Jenny Watts was on hand to receive the generous donation and shared a few words about the charity and how they educate local primary school children to help make the Mid North Coast a safer place to raise children.
In total the event raised $875 via a percentage of ticket cost and money raised from raffles on the evening. This amount will help educate 73 local children.
Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce executive officer Mark Wilson said it was wonderful to see everyone come together to support a local charity.
"It was wonderful to see so many people from across all local business networks come together and share in the spirit of the season," he said.
"It's been a tough couple of years and I think everyone enjoyed taking some time out to reconnect and reflect."
Organisers would like to thank event sponsor Sovereign Hills, Hastings Coop, Peakface Lifestyle Cafe and Wauchope performer Charlotte Schrader.
