Kendall Music Exchange have given the green light for a free concert and community market on Friday, January 14.
The Exchange is combining with the Port Macquarie-Hastings Council Live and Local music development campaign to present the free concert in January.
The non-profit open mic night will open from 7pm at the hall, while food vendors in the market will be providing a variety of options to buy for supper at their stalls from 4.30pm.
Jim and Sue will be performing under the name of Saltwater with Greg Viney on mandolin and banjo, and double bass player Brian Adair.
The Exchange is providing cups of tea on the night and encourages coin donates to help cover the cost.
Residents are also encouraged to bring the family, friends and neighbours to support live music in the community as well as hard working stall holders.
