The CWA Port Macquarie Branch staged the Christmas market at its CWA rooms in Horton Street.
Market organiser Ruth Durrant said the event raised funds for the CWA branch.
The CWA Port Macquarie Branch looked to new fundraising opportunities after the permanent closure of its tea rooms.
The Christmas market was a first for the branch. The event, which attracted 20 stallholders as well as supporters, raised money through the hire of stalls, the sale of cakes and a raffle.
Mrs Durrant said there was good feedback from stallholders and members of the public.
The CWA Christmas market showcased stalls selling a variety of items from macrame to diaries, handmade porcelain jewellery, Christmas decorations and cakes.
The branch also had membership inquiries as a result of the market.
