The forum will kick off at at 6.30pm and host a discussion between all the candidates in the running for the mayoral position at the Port Macquarie-Hastings council elections on December 4.
The mayoral candidates in the order they are drawn on the ballot are:
- Peta Pinson
- Steven Gates
- Rachel Sheppard
- Lisa Intemann
- Nik Lipovac
The community has already heard from the mayoral candidates and their teams on local issues at several locations around the Hastings region.

"Now, we will hear from the candidates about how they would run the council after the December 4 election," said president of Hastings Residents Association Greg Franks.
Mr Franks said questions will be selected based on leadership and governance issues.
"We will learn how the mayoral candidates would negotiate and consult with other councillors and the public in an open and transparent way to avoid the dysfunctions of the past," Mr Franks said.
"They can tell us how they would ensure developments are not approved behind closed doors and that their decisions are consistent with the wishes of residents and the character of local neighbourhoods."
Those who wish to ask a questions should register their intent with the Hastings Residents Association Inc. on Facebook, via email at hra@mail.com or via text or message to 0434 991156.
