The branch has a limited number of $30 vouchers to have your cat desexed, microchipped and vaccinated if you are a resident of the Port Macquarie-Hastings area.

You MUST:
- Bring your Centrelink card and photo ID (eg, your driver's licence) or a utilities
- bill with your name and address if not licensed
- Bring $30 in cash (correct money) as there will be no eftpos facilities
- Sign in at the showground (QR code available)
- Wear a mask and show proof of double vaccination
- Bring microchip details if your cat is already microchipped
This program - Maxine's Snip, Chip & Vax - is funded through a generous bequest to the RSPCA Port Macquarie Volunteer Branch by a Port Macquarie cat lover.
The branch runs the program to reduce the number of cats and kittens being surrendered in our region.
Local vet practices have agreed to participate in the program.
During the last cat breeding season, a huge number of cats and kittens were surrendered to animal welfare groups in the Port Macquarie Hastings area, which were overwhelmed trying to find homes for them.
First-come first-served for these $30 vouchers. Remember to bring all the necessary paperwork or you will miss out.
