St Joseph's Regional College Port Macquarie students Jayde Jackson, Astrid Fairhurst and Will McCourbrie demonstrated imagination, problem-solving skills and great tenacity to create detailed and comprehensive business plans based on their own original product concepts.

The students' plans encompassed the full gamut, from product design, financial forecasting and marketing strategies.

Despite the additional challenges the students faced during blended learning, Jayde, Astrid and Will collaborated, showing impressive determination and resilience to meet the strict requirements and deadline, competing with thousands of students from across New South Wales.

Will McCoubrie was awarded a high distinction for his business 'Ever&Ever' which provides an environmentally sustainable solution to reduce the use of plastics in hair care and home cleaning products.

Jayde Jackson and Astrid Fairhurst were awarded an outstanding achievement for their concept 'Paw Track', a device for fur parents to track their pets' physical activity and health through an interactive app.
