The Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) has been notified of three venues of concern associated with a COVID-19 case from Port Macquarie-Hastings LGA, announced on Monday (October 4).

All close contacts have been contacted and informed as part of normal contact tracing processes. They must get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result.
Anyone else who has been at the venues at the date and time listed is considered a casual contact. They must get tested and isolate until a negative result is received:
- Bunnings Port Macquarie, 18 John Oxley Drive, Wednesday 29 September, 3.30pm to 3.45pm
- Coles Lighthouse Plaza, Ocean Drive and Emerald Drive, Thursday 30 September, 5.10pm to 5.25pm
- Hastings Fresh Meats, 173 Lake Road, Wednesday 29 September, 12.15pm to 12.25pm
If you are directed to get tested for COVID-19 or self-isolate at any time, you must follow the rules given to you by Health staff, whether or not the venue or exposure setting is listed on the NSW Health website.
"COVID-19 testing clinics are located across the Mid North Coast including drive-through clinics at Port Macquarie and Lake Cathie which open at 8am tomorrow," MNCLHD chief executive Stewart Dowrick said.
There have been 34 cases reported in the MNCLHD since the beginning of the current NSW outbreak.
The MNCLHD has also been notified of several venues of concern associated with two COVID-19 cases from the Kempsey LGA:
- Stuarts Point Workers Recreation and Bowls Club, 40 Ocean Ave, Stuarts Point,Thursday 30 September, 3.30pm to 6pm.
- Back Creek Café, 19 Buchanan Dr, South West Rocks, Thursday 30 September, 10.20am to 12.20pm.
- Bunnings Kempsey, 123 Smith St, Kempsey, Thursday 30 September, 12.55pm to 1.35pm.
- Stuarts Point Supermarket, 16 Marine Parade, Stuarts Point, Thursday 30 September, 8.30am to 8.40am.
- South West Rocks Newsagency, 17 Paragon Avenue, South West Rocks,Thursday 30 September, 9.50am to 10.15am.
- Oasis Petrol Station, 103 Smith St, Kempsey, Thursday 30 September, 1.30pm to 1.35pm.
- Australia Post - Stuarts Point, Shop 1/70-74 Ocean Ave, Stuarts Point, Friday 1 October, 1pm to 1.05pm.
- Stuarts Point Cellars, 16 Marina Parade, Stuarts Point, Friday 1 October, 2.14pm to 2.34pm.
"We ask the community to please remain vigilant and come forward for testing for even the mildest symptoms of COVID-19. Please continue to practise COVID-safe measures at all times," Mr Dowrick said.
