Police are investigating after a large hydroponic setup was located on the state's Mid North Coast.
About 1.20pm yesterday, Sunday, September 19, emergency services were called to a rural property on Willi Willi Road, Turners Flat, west of Kempsey after reports of a large amount of smoke.
Upon arrival, crews from Fire and Rescue NSW, NSW Rural Fire Service and National Parks and Wildlife Service attended to contain a blaze, which had spread into nearby bushland.

The estimated potential street value of the plants located is around $6 million.
A crime scene was established and held overnight; with further officers deployed today (Monday) to dismantle the hydroponic setup.
The plants will be seized and destroyed.
