A MOTORCYCLIST sustained serious injuries after an accident on the Oxley Highway west of Wauchope on Thursday (September 16).
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by Ambulance NSW to Gingers Creek after reports of a collision between a motorcycle and car.
It was reported from scene that a male motorcyclist was suffering serious injuries, a helicopter spokesperson said.
Paramedics and emergency services attended and commenced treatment on the 32 year old man.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter and Critical Care Medical Team arrived shortly after and assisted in treatment of the rider's injuries prior to flying him direct to the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle in a stable condition.
The helicopter spokesperson said the rider suffered serious leg and arm injuries.
