Ms Morgan was awarded the AusMumpreneur NSW Regional Business of the Year Award for her work with PMPA.

"I am very proud of PMPA and the impact we have on the young dancers in our community, to be acknowledged as the Regional Business of the Year for NSW is a huge honour," Ms Morgan said.

The awards were held at an online event where talented mums in business from all over the country gathered to support and encourage other Australian mum entrepreneurs.

PMPA also took out a silver award in the service category and a bronze in the pivot category.

"It was a really good night. It just kept getting better," Ms Morgan said.

The awards night was held virtually this year due to COVID-19 restrictions.

"It was nice to be at home and watch it on the big screen with my family during lockdown," Ms Morgan said.

"Everyone from PMPA was also able to watch from home which was really nice as well."

AusMumpreneur co-founder Peace Mitchell said the organisation was created to support Australian entrepreneurs like Stacey who are running a business and raising a family.

"These awards are all about recognising the growing number of mums who are achieving outstanding business success while balancing motherhood," she said.

"I was blown away by the entrepreneurial spirit, resilience and professionalism of the award winners and I know that they will provide great inspiration for other mums considering starting their own business."

Ms Morgan said running a business while raising children can be a difficult task, one that she has had to learn along the way.

"My business was my first baby. I have three kids now and I did struggle with balancing time with my family and work early on," she said.

"I now have a better balance between work and family life. We are a real team at PMPA and having that support and working with people who are just as passionate as I am has helped a great deal."

Ms Morgan said the award is a nice reward for all of the hard work that has gone into PMPA.

"I want to say a big thank you to the PMPA team because I wouldn't have been able to do it without them. They're so driven and passionate about their love of dance and it definitely makes it easier to run a business."
