After staff at Wingecarribee Shire Council in NSW's Southern Highlands received a distressed call from a customer who accidentally threw their wallet out, council's waste team jumped in to save the day.
Roger and Horace from the Resource Recovery Centre (RRC) joined Vaughan from JR Richards and jumped into action.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Together the trio identified the truck which collected the waste. Once the truck arrived at the RRC, they emptied its contents and spent some time searching until the wallet was found.
The wayward wallet has now been reunited with all contents intact to its very grateful owner.
