That's the simple equation facing Port Macquarie Magpies seniors when the AFL North Coast finals series arrives a week early on Saturday.
A victory over Northern Beaches will see the Magpies return to the postseason for the first time since their heartbreaking grand final defeat to Coffs Harbour Breakers in 2019.
Last week they lost the Sheldon Morgan Cup in memory of long-serving club stalwarts Paul Sheldon and Peter Morgan when the Breakers won the women's and reserves fixtures.
But now, Magpies club president Michael Rolff said attention turned squarely to getting the job done this weekend.
"No other scenario gets us in there ... it's a virtual elimination final this weekend," he said.
While disappointed to hand the memorial trophy back to the Breakers, the Magpies have visions of going deep into the semi-finals.
"We always want to win any trophy that we can," Rolff said.
"There are no major injury concerns that will impact on us so we should have a full side to choose from which is huge. We're coming into the right time of the year to be able to do that. We'll still take it one game at a time."
The club's women's team are still a chance of finals despite the loss last weekend while reserve grade have one match remaining in their season regardless of the result.
"This year was about rebuilding reserve grade and women and getting them back in the competition. We'll be pushing hard for it again next year. It's looking really positive for 2022 for them," Rolff said.
Seniors start at 2.50pm at Wayne Richards Park.
