At about 12.30am on Saturday, July 31, Port Macquarie police responded to a report of a stolen Toyota Hilux from an address at The Bulkhead, Port Macquarie.
At about 1.20am, police were patrolling on Munster Street, Port Macquarie when they sighted the stolen vehicle.
A short pursuit took place on Gordon Street, through Macquarie Park onto Burrawan Street, Lord Street and Owen Street where a number of occupants jumped from the utility while it was still moving at a slow speed.
The utility came to rest outside a resort on Owen Street, Port Macquarie.
Four people were arrested at the scene, including a 14 year old female, 15 year old male, 15 year old female and an 18 year old woman.
They were all taken back to Port Macquarie Police Station. The three young people will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act while the 18 year old was released without charge.
Port Macquarie police are appealing for anyone with information as to the identity of another male and two females who were observed running away from the stolen car.
