It's not renaming, it's more like correcting the record, according to Port Macquarie teenager Jayden McLennan.

The 16-year-old has launched an online petition to rename Port Macquarie Service Centre to its more widely accepted local nickname, The Donut.
"I've lived in Port Macquarie my whole life. For as long as everyone here can remember we have always referred to the service centre roundabout as 'The Donut'," he said.
"Many people, including myself, didn't even know it had a name other than the donut.
"I started the petition as a fun thing but it could become a bit of a landmark."
BP Gateway's operator Michael Webb said the site is fondly known as 'The Donut' for all local people.
"I think it would be a great thing. I'm all for it and even when we order product for here, we classify it as the donut and couriers know it as that," he said.
"The donut definitely sounds better than our address of 1073 Oxley Highway, Thrumster."
Mr McLennan said he had been doing the rounds with the petition and was shocked by the successful response.
"It seems the majority of people are up for the idea of the name change. The support has been crazy with hundreds of signatures," he said.
"I've talked to some people who suggested we could even have a giant donut or replace the current sculpture with one."
The petition has already gathered a sizeable list of 374 signatures in its first five days since July 21.
